A beautiful craft project that creates a lasting keepsake

This delightful craft kit invites children to create their own enchanting butterfly display – complete with twinkling LED lights. Blue and gold butterflies are carefully assembled from pre-cut paper pieces, then arranged on flexible aluminium wire before being placed inside a transparent bell jar on a wooden base.

The kit includes everything needed: offset paper with butterfly designs, golden accent pieces, decorative beads, the bell jar and wooden stand, positioning wire, LED light garland with batteries, and a step-by-step instruction booklet. It's achievable without adult help whilst still offering a satisfying creative challenge.

Once complete, this 18cm tall decoration makes a lovely bedroom feature – particularly striking when the LED lights create gentle points of light through the transparent dome. From Janod's Les Ateliers Déco collection, developed with French publisher Hachette.

What's Included: 3 sheets of offset paper with butterfly designs, 2 pre-cut golden decorative sheets, 1 sheet of 24 half beads, 1 transparent plastic bell jar (10cm diameter), 1 wooden base, 1 flexible aluminium wire, 1 foam base, 1 LED light garland (10 LEDs) with batteries included (2 x CR2032), 1 sheet of adhesive dots, step-by-step instruction booklet.

Assembly Time: Around 2 hours.

Materials: Paper, plastic, wood, aluminium wire, foam, LED lights.

Care Instructions: Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. The wooden base can be treated with a wood sealant if desired.

Safety Information: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Adult supervision recommended during assembly, particularly when working with wire components.
