About the Author: Rachel Piercey is a freelance poet, editor, and tutor who regularly visits schools to perform her work and run poetry workshops. She has co-edited three children's poetry anthologies with the Emma Press and is the editor of Tyger Tyger Magazine, an online journal of new poems for children. Her poems for adults have been published in various prestigious journals. She lives in London.

About the Illustrator: Freya Hartas is a UK-based illustrator specialising in children's books. She graduated from Falmouth University with first-class honours in illustration and is known for creating humorous characters and fantastical worlds. She lives in Bristol and works from her cosy studio, bringing Bear and his woodland friends to life with extraordinary detail and warmth.
