This core set of Japanese crayons covers all the basics with twelve carefully chosen colours. Made from rice bran wax, they glide smoothly across multiple surfaces - not just paper, but glass and mirrors too, wiping clean with a damp cloth when you're done.

Add water with a brush and they transform into watercolours. The twelve colours include white, pink, red, orange, pale orange, yellow, spring green, green, light blue, blue, brown, and black - everything needed for most creative projects.

Made by Nihon Rikagaku, a Japanese company that's been creating art materials since 1937. About 70% of their workforce are people with intellectual disabilities, making this a brand with genuine social purpose behind quality products.
