About the Writer: Evie Daye is the pseudonym of Emily Daluga, a writer and editor at Chronicle Books who specialises in middle-grade and young adult fiction. She has written several licensed novelty books and is passionate about stories that feature diverse characters and meaningful themes.

About the Illustrator: Ana Sanfelippo is an Argentine illustrator and graphic designer born in Buenos Aires in 1982. She studied design and typography at the University of Buenos Aires, where she also taught illustration and typography for 14 years. Ana specialises in children's illustration and creates vibrant artwork filled with curious characters and natural scenery. She has published books internationally and currently lives and works in Madrid, Spain.

About Marie Curie: Marie Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields (Physics and Chemistry), and remains the only person to achieve this distinction. Her discoveries of the elements polonium and radium laid the foundation for modern atomic physics and chemistry.
