About the Writer: Amy Atwater is a palaeontologist and geologist who believes every fossil has a story to tell. She is the Director of Development and Membership at Dinosaur Ridge in Colorado. Under the banner of "Mary Anning's Revenge," she has built a passionate online following on Instagram by sharing her love for palaeontology and ancient ecosystems. She also runs a blog with fellow palaeontologist Meaghan Emery-Wetherall.

About the Illustrator: Nat Cardozo is a Franco-Uruguayan illustrator born in Paris in 1982, who now lives in Uruguay. She graduated from the School of Design and Illustration in Barcelona and specialises in editorial illustration. Inspired by nature and world cultures, she works with various traditional techniques including acrylics, coloured pencils, ink, watercolor, pyrography, and embroidery. She is a two-time winner of the prestigious Bartolomé Hidalgo Award for Best Illustrated Picture Book.
