About the Compiler: Fiona Waters is renowned in the world of children's books for her passion, enthusiasm, and encyclopedic knowledge of children's literature. She has published more than eighty titles and her work has been translated into many languages. Born and raised in Edinburgh, she now lives in the South of England with thousands of books and several discerning cats.

About the Illustrator: Britta Teckentrup studied illustration and fine art in London before settling in Berlin. She has created more than thirty books, and her illustrations have appeared in magazines and on homewares, clothes, and packaging worldwide.
