Born and raised in Edinburgh, she now lives in the South of England with thousands of books and several discerning cats.

About the Illustrator: Britta Teckentrup studied illustration and fine art in London before settling in Berlin. She has created more than thirty books, and her illustrations have appeared in magazines and on homewares, clothes, and packaging worldwide.
